On Gear Live: Samsung S95C: The OLED TV You Can’t Afford (to Ignore!)

If you were one of the people who felt slightly uncomfortable about Miley Cyrus’ photo with her dad, this won’t make you feel any better.

This photo is of rubbing lotion on his 19-year-old daughter yesterday.

Brooke Hogan, Hulk Hogan

Not only am I weirded out, I’m confused.  I thought Brooke Hogan was still pissed off at daddy for sleeping around with one of her best friends?  I guess there’s nothing like a hug - or a rub down - to make things all better.

Gary Dourdan, mug shot

Just a few weeks ago, TV Envy reported that Gary Dourdan would be leaving his post at CSI.  At the time, it appeared the actor who had played Warrick Brown since 2000 had made the decision to leave on his own.  But did he really?

Since that initial story, TV Guide hinted that Gary’s departure may have been prompted by studio execs.  Why?  Possibly because of an “ongoing problem personal to Dourdan.”

Miley Cyrus, Vanity Fair

As you’ve probably all heard by now, controversy has arisen from Miley Cyrus’ recent photo shoot for Vanity Fair.  Some of the pics - taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz - show a topless Miley draped by a sheet.  (You can see a behind-the-scenes photo above.)

Although she see seemed fine with how things were going at the time, the singer is now apparently “embarrassed” by the results.  (Methinks ‘s disapproval had something to do with that ounce of regret.)

Of course, it didn’t take very long for the Christian Coalition to jump on the bandwagon and offer up their two cents on the matter.  The organization doesn’t feel like a written apology from the 15-year-old is quite enough.  They believe the star should be reprimanded by her bosses and be forced to hold a press conference.  “If she’s gonna go out there and represent wholesome values, she needs to be more accountable for her actions.”

Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz

If Ashlee Simpson is the one reportedly pregnant...why does Pete Wentz look like he’s the person packing on all the weight?  (Let’s just hope he finds a better suit for their upcoming nuptials.)

Once you’ve managed to answer the first question, you can then try and figure out why the two were even at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner to begin with.

Miley Cyrus

This has definitely been a whopper of a week for singer Miley Cyrus.  Not only is she on the cover of People (Miley is one of the World’s Richest Kids, if you didn’t know), she’s admitted to being embarrassed by her new Vanity Fair photo spread and just now apologized for the internet pics viewed by every teen in America.

Via an exclusive statement issued to the magazine, the 15-year-old tries to chalk up her self-portraits to youthful errors in judgment:

“The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone.  Most of all, I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support team. My family and my faith will guide me through my life’s journey.”

Of course, you didn’t intend for this to happen.  No one ever does.

Julianne MooreIf you often envision your babies wearing something seen in Us Magazine, this upcoming auction might be right up your alley.

Next week, eBay will feature hand-me-down items from a list of Hollywood celebrities.  The gently-used pieces (at least, I hope they’re gently-used) are being donated in hopes of raising money for several children’s charities.  Organizations benefitting from the proceeds will include the March of Dimes and Save the Children.

Come April 29, interested parties can bid on one of ‘s former messenger-style baby bags, a high chair of Julianne Moore’s and an Adidas track suit worn by Mariska Hargitay’s son.  Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Jeri Ryan are several of the other stars contributing to the cause.

Those wanting to participate can find more information here.

Gary Coleman, Shannon Price

While I am in no way an authority on relationships, there are some things I would feel comfortable telling any set of newlyweds.  Never admit your marriage hasn’t been consummated...and never reveal scary anger issues.  At least not to the media.

Unfortunately, Gary Coleman and his wife, Shannon Price, have already passed the point of no return and have chosen to keep on going.  The 40-year-old actor and his wife of only 8 months have now opted to air their differences on Divorce Court.  No, no - they’re not actually getting a divorce (at least, not yet), they’re just gonna get a little guidance from Judge Lynn Toler.  (What?  ‘s peeps didn’t pay to get them on first?)

Matthew BroderickMatthew Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker

These are two pics of actor Matthew Broderick taken in recent weeks.

Are you seriously telling me that his wife - the fashionable - let him out of the house with those shoes?

Seriously.  Those awful things rank right up there with Britney Spears’ hideous brown boots.

Al Reynolds, Star JonesIn early March, the National Enquirer reported that Star Jones and Al Reynolds were on the road to Splitsville.  After nearly 3 1/2 years of marriage, Star was supposedly getting tired of doing all the “heavy lifting” in the marriage.

Now almost 2 months later, Jones has finally admitted that the buzz was true.  On March 26, the former View co-host filed for divorce in New York.  In a statement issued exclusively to Entertainment Tonight, she said:

“Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life.  A month ago I filed for divorce.  The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts.  I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.”

So now she wants privacy?  I’d love to hear what has to say about that.
